Experience a once in a lifetime opportunity of riding the Iron Ore train in Mauritania. A truly invigorating experience that is fully customised to your wants and needs. Ride on top of the longest train in the world, deep in the heart of the Western Saharan Desert, and experience a night like no other under the stars. Why book through me? For example, with this tour, negotiating prices in Africa can be a challenge, but booking through me I have a set rate where I can provide you exactly what is quoted. What is included- -Free 15-30 minute consultation with me if you are interested in this tour to help you understand if the Iron Ore train is the right fit for you. -Transport from Nouakchott to Zouerat/Choum (800km) by private car -Return transport Choum/Nouadhibou- Nouakchott -Driver -On demand (whatsapp) guide to help you on the ground in Mauritania -Accommodation -Blankets for train -Train ride (drop off & pick up included) -Optional add on: Chinguetti Unesco Site I will also help you arrange flights into Nouakchott as an added free benefit since I already do that for free😅. What is not included- Meals (we will provide places for you to eat but meals are 4-8$ each) Tips Visa (if needed) Flights Cost- Example: 1 person sample itinerary 1100$ Day 1- Private car from Nouakchott-Zouerat. Sleep in Zouerat Day 2- Enjoy breakfast then drop off at Zouerat station. Iron Ore train overnight Day 3- Arrive in Nouadhibou in the morning, rest in 4 star hotel Day 4- Private car Nouadhibou-Nouakchott Due to various factors the cost increases depending on the amount of people in your group.
