United Airlines Upgrading Wine Selection

Intro
Over the past few years we have seen United Airlines evolve dramatically as it looks to conquer the US market to all around the world. Well, I might be biased, but I believe that United has the best wine selection out of the US3 carriers, and it seems to be getting better and better.
The Details
In the past, we have seen United offer some decent wines in Polaris, ranging from a Freemark Abbey Cabernet to the infamous Whispering Angel. Additionally, when departing select outstations, United will also occasionally offer a local wine which tends to be quite good.

Well, it seems that United has struck a deal with Heitz Cellar, a family-run winery from Napa Valley offering delicious wines, for the next three years. Polaris passengers will not have the opportunity to choose from a Cabernet Sauvignon from Heitz which is a decent wine.
I am unsure at the moment if United plans to remove the Freemark Abbey Cab and do a complete switch. If that is the case, it would be a little disappointing as I really enjoy the Freemark.
Final Thoughts
United has really been raising the Polaris experience in the past few years with the likes of new pajamas, Laurent Perrier, new dishes and now a new premium wine partnership. This represents an overall shift at the airline and one that I am excited about where it is going to go next. Well, I'll be back on board soon to test out the new Heitz wine and I am excited!
