Top 5 Best Business Class Products

Intro

Throughout the past years, I have had the privilege of being able to fly with multiple airlines across 85 countries. Some of it in economy, some of it in business, and the occasional flight in First Class. With that being said, I wanted to put together the top 5 business class products that I have experienced and why. Everyone's list is probably going to be different, and some might seem controversial, but this is solely my opinion.

Let's get into it!

Number 1: ANA The Room

ANA "The Room" is a fantastic product. Suites are the size of a small couch, have great Asian service, and have decent lounges (Star Alliance, Polaris, etc.). It's a good ride no matter what.

ANA The Room

Introduced in 2019, ANA brought "the room" concept to a certain number of their 777-300's. This is where the only main issue lies. The Room is only offered on certain routes and is subject to aircraft swaps. Personally, I'm not a fan of the "other" business class seat as it is too open, not nearly as spacious, and not as comfortable.

Number 2: Qatar Airways Q Suites

Q Suites is right up there with "the room" when it comes to the best business classes in the sky. Huge suites featuring high doors make for a very comfortable ride on even the longest of flights such as New York to Doha. Great food, good service most of the time, Pajamas provided, and some stellar champagne mean that Q Suites earns the number 2 spot

Qatar Airways Q Suites

However, there are a couple of issues when it comes to Q Suites as well. For starters, the 777-300 can easily get swapped to one of the worst business class configurations in the sky. Secondly, the customer service. It can be a right mess at times and not very helpful...

Number 3: Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines has the best soft product in Business Class, no matter which hard product you are flying. After engaging multiple times in their business classes from Siem Reap on the 737 Max, or the 777 to Jakarta, I can proudly put this at number 3 on the list. Book your cook is featured, freshly squeezed orange juice, huge seats, and once again: the best service in the sky.

Singapore Airlines Business Class 777

So why isn't this number 1? There are a couple of quirks when it comes to the seat. For starters, the IFE isn't touchscreen, which I really do not like. Secondly, unless you get a bulkhead, the footwell is too small for sleeping... Perhaps a slightly better hard product would push them to number 1!

Number 4: Eva Air

Surprisingly, since I started this blog, I haven't flown Eva Air in Business Class. However, in the past 5 years, I have flown through it a couple of times and have loved every part of it. The soft product is fantastic, I mean seriously fantastic. With stellar food, exquisite champagne, and comfortable Pajamas, this is why this product has made it into the top 5!

Eva Air 777 Business Class

There is one main drawback when it comes to flying Eva Air Business Class: The hard product. To be frank, it is dated and not so private on their 777's. The 787s provide a bit of a better experience but are not up there with the likes of Singapore Airlines or Qatar Q Suites.

Number 5: Latam Business Class

To some, this might sound okay; to others, I might sound off my rocker, but stick with me here. At number 5 comes the new LATAM product. The new product consists of one of the most well-rounded business-class offerings at the moment. The lounge at Santiago might be the best business-class lounge in the world; the seats are very comfortable, and the service is polished.

LATAM 787 Business Class

What are the issues then? For starters, I would like to see pajamas added. There is so much potential when it comes to this product, and pajamas would move them up the list. There are also no doors at the seat, and for me, this isn't too much of a problem, but for others, it might be.

Final Thoughts

That concludes my current thoughts surrounding the top 5 business-class products in the sky at the moment. ANA "The Room" has the largest product you will find anywhere (bigger than some First Class seats). Q Suites has a sublime soft product coming in at number 2. Singapore Airlines has the best service in the sky, coming in at 3. Due to Eva Air's soft product, they make the list at number four. Finally, the overall great experience on LATAM closes in the list at 5. Stay tuned for more!
