Shady Pig In Berawa, Bali: The Best Speakeasy On The Island?
Intro
As I am getting old now (22😅), nightclubs don't really interest me as much as they did before. Since nightclubs don't interest me, and I do like to go out in Bali with some of my mates, I had to find other avenues for a chill night out. Cue: The Shady Pig in Berawa.
Location+Access
The Shady Pig is a Peaky Blinders-themed speakeasy located in Berawa. To give the location, it is right next to Food romance, which you can easily find on Google Maps.
Once you get there, it's a little bit hidden. There will be a security guard waiting outside, who will give you the password if you ask nicely and direct you towards the hidden door.
Upon entering the hidden door, there will be a phone in the bookcase, which you have to call the front, present the password, and you will be let into the Shady Pig.

Drinks here are some of the most elaborate I have had on the island, which ties in perfectly with the Peaky Blinders displayed in the picture below. Cocktails start at about 150,000 Indonesian Rupiah but can go upwards or 250,000 IDR for the higher-end cocktails.
Whether you want a cocktail lit on fire, displayed in a telephone box, or even having smoke inside of a bubble, you can have it. Aka, if you are looking for a cute date night spot in Bali, this is the place with sublime ambiance.
Final Thoughts
If you happen to be planning a trip to Bali and fancy a night out not consistent with grimy nightclubs, check out the Shady Pig in Berawa. It's slightly on the pricier side, but it's certainly worth it!
