Premium Fare Deals: Dollar Per Hour 9. Cheap Business Class Deals!

Welcome back, everyone. It's Sunday (or Monday, depending on where you are), and you know what that means! It's time for the weekly Dollar Per Hour series. This week, we have 4 decent long-haul fares!
As you know, I love to find good deals on the internet; it's my passion. Every Sunday, I will release an article called the "Dollar Per Hour" series, breaking down some of the best premium-class deals at the moment. While I book some of them and don't, my hope is I am able to help some of you fly in comfort for at least half the price.
Deal 1: Toronto-Lagos (Nigeria) 2100$ RT Business Class SA/SK
I'll be the first to admit this, but I just booked this ticket earlier this week; it was that good of a deal! This routing allows you to fly from North America, more specifically Toronto to Lagos, Nigeria, for 2100$ Roundtrip in Business Class. Average fares to Africa during the summer will set you back at least 3500$ roundtrip, but this one comes out to 80$ per hour in United Polaris or Delta One!
Most of the time, when we see fares pop up to Africa, they usually come from EgyptAir. However, the main long-haul flight is operated by a United 787 with Polaris. Having reviewed that on the flight to Manila recently, you won't be disappointed!
Deal 2: Auckland-Los Angeles Delta Premium Economy 535$
Ordinarily, I am not a fan of posting about premium economy deals. However, I was taking a browse to get back from Africa (the long way), and came across this deal from Auckland to Los Angeles on a Delta A350 in premium economy. At 41$ per hour on a direct flight, this isn't a bad deal at all!
The Delta A350 is a respectable product for premium economy. The seats are spacious, and the food is good. I'll tell you this: it's definitely worth 535$ for a 12-hour flight.
Deal 3: Chicago-Lima Copa Airlines Business Class 1250$ RT
Copa Airlines has recently released a fare where you can get to Peru (perhaps see Machu Picchu) for under 1300$ roundtrip in Business Class. For 9 hours in each direction and time in the lounge, you can experience some of the qualities of Copa Airlines that I now love for 72$ an hour.
Tomorrow I will publish the report surrounding the 737 max 9 in Business Class but for now, it's the best deal you'll find with a lie flat bed that allows you to stay more than a day.
Deal 4: Kenya Airways Business Class Johannesburg-Mumbai 1017$ RT
Kenya Airways has been having some great sales to multiple locations out of Johannesburg. These consist primarily of Mumbai, Lisbon, and certain destinations in America for under 2800$. However, the best value comes out to the route from Johanessburg-Nairobi-Mumbai and the return, for just over 1000$ in Business Class. This translates to 48$ per hour, a phenomenal value!
Yes, let me be frank: 12 hours of this is on a 737 in a recliner. However, 8 hours of this fare features a nice and comfortable lie-flat bed!
Final Thoughts
These four fares comprise this page's ninth round of the dollar-per-hour series. The goal isn't the most direct routing, but the comfiest routing for the cheapest price. We live in a world that is so beautiful, and every country has a different culture to offer. This week, we found our best deal with the routing originating in Toronto and ending in Lagos in Polaris Business Class for 80$ per hour. However, there were also fares as low as 48$ per hour, just nowhere near as comfortable. All fantastic deals! Stay tuned for, hopefully, more routes next Sunday!
