Pizza Express In Hong Kong. My Favorite!

Intro

During my three-night excursion to Hong Kong, there was a singular restaurant on my mind: Pizza Express. To some, this might just be an ordinary UK pizza place in Hong Kong, but to me, it is much more; it is a taste of my childhood. Every week without failure, when I was younger, consisted of Pizza Express, so to have it on multiple occasions was a treat! Even with the amazing food at the Four Seasons, and good food around in Hong Kong, I still managed to get a pizza express two times in my three days in HK.

What Is It Like?

Firstly, if you are in Hong Kong and looking for a pizza express, there are multiple locations in the city. I decided to make the one at Causeway Bay my spot for the trip, and it certainly didn't disappoint. I have a go-to order at Pizza Express, whether it is in the Philippines, London, or Hong Kong. To start, the mandatory order of dough balls. If you have never had these, they are balls of deliciousness.

Next up was the one and only Margherita pizza. Considering I have a place in New York and go to Italy frequently, it's weird for me to say that this is my favorite pizza in the world. Is it the best quality? Certainly not. However, the sense of nostalgia is what brings it together to create the perfect meal.

The total for both of these items comes out to about 20$, which, for Hong Kong, is quite a good price. I headed out to LKF one night and paid 100$ for a steak frites and two cocktails.

Final Thoughts

If you happen to be in Hong Kong or are planning a visit and need something easy to eat one night, I highly recommend giving Pizza Express a shot. There is certainly more adventurous food to eat in the city, but it's cheap, delicious, and has a special place in my heart.
