Photo Story Dump: 24 Hours In Bali
Intro
I love being home and seeing everyone. The original plan was to be in Bali for only one night (until I changed that later), so I ended up having a wild night in the town for the one night I was there.
This is a new series of places I go where it's just a visual story of a night in Bali.
The Night
Once landing from Singapore onboard the Singapore Airlines 787-10 in Business Class, it was time to head to my favorite pastry shop in town. For those wondering, the name is Kanvaz Patisserie, and it has the best Cronuts in Bali.
Once multiple pastries were demolished, an afternoon tea was needed at the Oberoi in Seminyak.
A quick change of clothes and it was for drinks and dinner. Having only 24 hours in Bali, I had a lot of people to see in such a short period of time. Sangsaka is an incredibly chic Indonesian restaurant in Seminyak that isn't too expensive. A 5-course set menu costs about 40 USD, which is more than reasonable.
But drinks were only had at Seminyak, as Amici was the choice for dinner that night. Being with family here means I get spoiled, and going to Amici is no different. Amici is by far my favorite restaurant in Bali, with the menu featuring an oxtail ragu and a tuna tartare pizza🥰.
Once the two-hour-long dinner and catch-up were finished, I had to head up to Canggu to hit up a couple of bars with someone who is like a big brother to me. By 2 am it was time to head back for a couple of hours of rest before heading off to Singapore the next morning!
Stay tuned for that report soon!
Final Thoughts
Bali is a love-hate relationship in my eyes. I really enjoyed my time there, just like this time, but I also didn't like certain parts of it. I am grateful to have friends and family there who make time for me, even when I am back for 24 hours. What a fantastic day, and one I will never forget. The countless hugs, conversations, and much more.
