Live: 30% Transfer Bonus From Chase To Virgin Atlantic!
Intro
As someone who loves maximizing my points booking at any level, I find it exciting when a new transfer bonus is released. Well, the latest one seems to be like a decent deal if you have a redemption ready to book, as Chase and Virgin Atlantic have teamed up to give you an extra 30% points when transferring between the two.
The Details
From February 3rd until February 17th, 2025, those transferring their hard-earned points from Chase to Virgin Atlantic will now receive an additional 30% bonus. We often see Virgin Atlantic work with Chase to offer promotions a couple of times a year, and these can range anywhere from 30-40%.
For math range: if you were to transfer 30,000 Chase Points, you would receive 39,000 Virgin Atlantic miles.
My Thoughts On Transferring
While I am someone who loves transfer bonuses, I am also somebody who will not transfer speculatively. If you have a redemption in mind and see that there is award space, this could prove to be a fantastic way to shave off some Chase Points. However, now that Virgin Atlantic is dynamic, it comes with all sorts of issues (unless you fly a lot) when trying to redeem. Don't get me wrong, Upper Class to London for 30K (before bonus) is fantastic, but it's not always that price...
There are some decent fares for Delta One as well if you can find space.
Final Thoughts
Virgin Atlantic and Chase have just come out with their latest transfer and while it's not the best, it is still 30%. If you have a redemption in mind, this could be a perfect way to save upwards of 10,000 miles on any trip. Heck, 23,000 points to fly Upper Class from New York to London isn't a bad deal at all.
