Intro: Bora Bora Review Trip!
Intro
I will be embarking on an expedition for the next week all over South America (I will write about it in a future post). I figured this would be the perfect time to review my experience last Spring Break when I visited the French Polynesia as I haven't done so yet!
The French Polynesia is as magical as people say. I had the most incredible trip and I cannot wait to share all of the details. Let's get into exactly what to expect over the upcoming week.
First Review: Hilton Tahiti
The first review will consist of the Hilton in Tahiti. Most people spend a night here when transiting from another island before heading back to the States. This is exactly what we did and while it was pricey, it was a decent hotel nonetheless. The morning views were something to be cherished.
Second Review: Air Tahiti, Tahiti-Bora Bora
The second review, which I will be looking to publish shortly, will be about flying onboard an ATR from Tahiti to Bora Bora. Flying on an ATR around French Polynesia is a unique experience that I cannot wait to share with all the readers! Looking out over the beautiful turquoise water is one of the most beautiful sights any person can see.
Third Review: Conrad Bora Bora
The Conrad in Bora Bora is an incredible hotel that is a lot cheaper than the Four Seasons. From start to finish, this hotel was perfect. It features overwater villas, fantastic food, and countless activities.
Fourth Review: What It's Like To Swim With Sharks
For the past few years, there has been an ongoing trend on social media about how scary it is to swim with sharks. I am here to put that story to rest and talk about what it is like to swim with sharks and Manta Rays around Bora Bora.
Fifth Review: Air Tahiti Bora Bora-Tahiti
For the next portion of the trip, my mum and I will be heading back to Tahiti to start the next adventure. Even though we had just taken this route in the opposite direction, there were a couple of different aspects to this experience that I would love to share.
Sixth Review: Living On A Sportfisher for 3 Days; What It's Like
My lifetime dream is to catch a thousand-pound marlin. The waters off French Polynesia are known to host some giants and I wanted to head out to fish the waters. We booked Seawolf for a 3-day adventure and had the time of our lives. Find out if we caught anything in the full review!
Seventh Review: Quick Review: FrenchBee Premium Economy
This will be a short review since my photos from my go pro were somehow corrupted after the fishing trip... perhaps the saltwater and lack of cleaning the go pro destroyed it. Anyway, I wanted to share what a fantastic flight I had onboard the FrenchBee A350! Much more comfortable than what I had expected.
Final Thoughts
I am extremely excited to share this trip with all of you because it was special to me! Seven comprehensive reviews will bring together this whole trip with 2 hotels, 2 experiences, and 3 flights. Stay tuned for each full review of the course of the next week as I gather content across South America for the series of the next review trip!
