Delta Expanding Shake Shack Collaboration!
Intro
Back in December of 2024, Delta announced its partnership with Shake Shack to provide customers flying out of Boston in Domestic First the option to select a customizable burger. Well, there is some good news for Delta Flyers, as this is being expanded.
The Details
As of March 2025, passengers seated in Domestic First Class departing from Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle, and Atlanta now have the choice to pre-order the Shake Shack burger on eligible.
No suprises here (since food is hard to get right on planes), Delta Airlines got some incredible feedback by their customers about this option, and even said that over the course of 3 months, 10,000 burgers had been ordered.

As someone who loves shake shack, this is a collboration which I think is extremely smart by both parties. I imagine that costs are low on both sides, yet the marketing is fabulous. Ordinarily, burgers on planes aren't of the highest quality, but it seems that (Jeb Brooks has a good video on it) that this burger is much better than the ones that are traditionally offered.
A lot of people love a good lunch on a 3 hour flight, and the Shake Shack burger is the perfect way to hold someone over. While fries would be nice, I understand that those are even harder to get right on a plane, so the chip making perfect sense.
Final Thoughts
If you happen to be a Delta flyer out of Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, or Atlanta, you'll be happy to know that on flights over 900 miles in Domestic First, you can now pre-order a Delta x Shake Shack burger. Talk about a smart partnership; I might have to give Delta another go 😉.
