Intro
Plenty of times we see airlines come out with new First Class products, but rarely do we see new products being rolled out that are truly exceptional. These days, most airlines' First Classes are lackluster, and I’d say the last time we heard this buzz around a First Class product was for the Gamechanger on Emirates.
Well, Air France has taken their new La Premiere to the next level.
The Details
While we aren’t 100% sure when the new First Class product will enter service, the expectation is that we should see the new La Premiere debut in the Spring Time to the following destinations:
New York
Los Angeles
Singapore
Tokyo
It seems that the first jet to be reconfigured will be entering service relatively shortly so keep your eyes peeled.
The Product
There’s a saying: “The French to it better”, and they really do with First Class. There are some photos here from the release and I have to say that the cabin looks stunning. Each seat features a chair, and a chaise, along with 5 windows. If you feel like working, the chair is perfect, if you feel like relaxing, the chaise is perfect, and for sleeping, combine them both.

Just wow, I can only imagine relaxing upon boarding on the chaise, enjoying a lovely glass of bubbles.
Additionally, Air France has done away with overhead bins and has chosen to install a little cubby that pulls out by the seat.

I’ve gotta say, hands down, this is the most chic First Class in the sky. Sure, Singapore Suites or even as far as the Residence might be more spacious, but this is the most chic.
Final Thoughts
Air France has just released their new “La Premiere” product which is soon to debut, and I’ve gotta say that this is the most chic First Class in the sky. Featuring 5 windows, a chaise, a seat, and an in-seat cubby for bags, the only problem is the price point 😅 (not actually).
Additionally: Air France seems to be blocking award seats on routes with the new First Class. Interesting.
